Meet Mrs Christine Craig
I am an experienced female Colorectal and General Surgical Consultant. I qualified in Leeds in 1998 then returned to my home town of Manchester.
My NHS post is at Manchester Royal Infirmary but I also provide outreach clinics, endoscopy and Day Case Surgery at Trafford and Altrincham General Hospitals.
As a Colorectal Surgeon, I specialise in diagnosing and treating bowel cancers and other bowel conditions but I also deal with all those bottom/bum issues that you don't really wish to discuss with anyone.....
I am JAG accredited in endoscopy (Gastroscopy; Flexible Sigmoidoscopy and Colonoscopy) and an experienced laparoscopic surgeon.

Although as a Colorectal surgeon I perform major bowel surgery, it is more the nuisance bottom, belly and bowel problems I deal with privately - those conditions that many people are embarrassed to talk about and have been putting off seeing anyone for months or even years.
I will make you feel less embarrassed, more at ease and will arrange appropriate investigations and treatment at a time to suit you.
